We're headed out to Washington Family Ranch today for a weekend with all of the volunteers in the Oregon and SW Washington region. We do this every year and it's a blast. It's nice just to get away and forget about life for awhile. I love the idea of living in community, and for a few days it actually exists. We lived on the ranch for three weeks over the summer and it was a fabulous time for the three of us. Jaden was quite popular. The kids nicknamed him "Baby Kyle". Aw!
Out in an oasis in the desert, it is one of the more peaceful places on earth. Can't wait to get packed up and go, I know we'll be refreshed when we return.
